    Changes Per User Request!

  • The subject part of the e-mail is now customizeable! Under User Information you may change it, just like the body. Note: You must logout and back in for the changes to take effect.
  • You can delete messages from the outbox, and messages will only go into the outbox if you check that button. Note: Check the button to keep a log in there.
  • The bug that has been reported where moves disappear has been caught (kinda). The edit move area has been redesigned, you can only edit 1 move at a time, preventing the possibility to erase a bunch of moves.

Head over to the discussion area and give me your input!

    E-Mail Changes

A couple changes to e-mails. When the system sends e-mails, it now sends 2 seperate e-mails instead of one to the opponent and a CC'd copy to the sender.

Also, you can seperate multiple to e-mail addresses with a semi-colon (;) if your opponent wants e-mails delivered to 2 addresses.

    Minor Update

I made several changes to note. When you enter your move, you could always enter a note along with your move. It never displayed them before. Now, when viewing with the Java chess viewer, the note will show up when you are on that particular move! Also, when editing moves, you wont lose your comments.

Thanks to the USCF for posting a link to my site! I am finally getting some hits from the public and good information!

    Updates!

I am going on a trip soon, and will only have my PDA. It dosent support the java chess viewer, but does support PGN files via WinCE. I made some updates to allow me to do this!

    Updates:

    • Added a link next to 'Enter Your Move' called 'text'. This will allow you to just enter the text notation of the move without loading the java viewer.
    • Added a new link on the left called 'Download All Open Games'. This will create a pgn with all of your open games in it.

    Sometime in June

I forgot to post these until July, but better late than never!

    Updates:

    • You can now send the moves to multiple people by seperating your opponents e-mail address with a semi-colon (;). The help icon next to the e-mail box describes it.
    • Created a subdomain chess.theandrew.com to simplify access to the site.

    3-27-2006

Welcome to the Beta version of TheAndrew's Correspondence Chess manager!!!

I created this program while playing one of my first games of CC. My original methods of tracking my games were cumbersome, I kept track of moves and times in excel, and also a pgn file so I could view the game on the computer. I also used outlook to send and receive the moves.

    TheAndrew’s CC Manager will:

    • Keep track of all moves in your CC games
    • Show you graphical view of the current game
    • Automatically generate and send an e-mail to your opponent.

    Current Features:

    • Register – Allows you to create an account on the system. You enter your name, e-mail and USCF ID.
    • Start New Game – Allows you to add a new game. You choose what side you are on, give the game a name and enter your opponents USCF ID. If you add a game, and your opponent is registered on the system, It will automatically add the account to his account as well. It references the USCF ID that you create when you sign up.
    • View Games – Shows a listing of all your games.
      • View – Will show the current board layout of the game.
      • Enter Your Move – This will appear when it is your move. It will show the board layout, and give you a box to enter your move.
      • Confirm Move – This screen shows up after you submit your move. It allows you to confirm your move, and to prepare an e-mail to your opponent.
      • Enter Opponents Move – This will appear when it is your opponents move, and will give you a form to enter their move once you receive it. (If your opponent is registered on the system, you will never see this, your opponent will obviously enter their own moves)
      • Opponents Move - This will appear when you are waiting for your opponent to make a move. (This will only appear when both players are registered on the system)
      • Logout – This logs you out!

    Features to add:

    • Keep track of reflection time
    • Allow you to make games as complete (Win, Loss, Draw)
    • Buncha other stuff!!!
